What we do
Technological advances offer tremendous potential to improve life on earth, but they are not inherently good or bad. It is how we use them, and how effectively we manage the risks, that determines the outcome. Technologies like nuclear fission holds the promise of access to vast amounts of carbon-free energy, but also carries the risk of nuclear disaster, terrorist attacks and nuclear war. The same holds true for advances in biotechnology and AI. We believe that these powerful technologies can offer unmeasurable benefits, but should be carefully regulated to ensure they are developed and deployed responsibly, safeguarding humanity's future.
